The Hull Growers’ Network was set up in 2016 after the successful Hull Harvest Feastival in October 2015. The initial aim was to get more people growing their own fruit and vegetables, with workshops on how to grow your own produce in the lead up to the second Hull Harvest Feastival. We also ran the ‘sow-a-row’ campaign, encouraging people to grow a row of vegetables with any surplus being donated to the second community feast in September.
